City bringing its services to Elsies River and Retreat residents this week

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be providing municipal services in Elsies River and Retreat this week. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the services that will be on offer in their neighbourhood on the day. Read more below:
 

The details are as follows:
 
• Thursday, 13 November 2025: Mobile office in Elsies River from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Elsies River Civic Centre on Halt Road, Elsies River
 
• Friday, 14 November 2025: Mobile office in Retreat Civic Centre from 09:30-13:30 from Toring Road, Retreat.
 
The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.
 
‘We are bringing the City’s services closer to Elsies River and Retreat residents for their convenience. These events are part of the City’s commitment to make local government more accessible to our residents. This is a special opportunity to discuss any municipal items that residents have wanted to address. Should you wish to make use of the services on offer, do remember to bring along your ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
